Sicily, the largest Mediterranean island, is just off the “toe” of Italy’s “boot.”  On Sicily’s eastern edge is Mount Etna, one of Europe’s highest active volcanoes.

I went in search of the active volcano and came back with some great photography of them, Stromboli stands out more than the rest for it remoteness location, activity of the volcano and beauty.
